The Guillemot family has been making wine in Savigny-lès-Beaune for the last couple of hundred years or so, currently in their eighth generation here. One of the top couple of domaines in this important but still undervalued commune, their wines are a terrific value in a market where prices in the Côte d'Or have been doubling and more over the last few short, difficult vintages. This particular Bourgogne Rouge is a perennial best buy in top red Burgundy.
